Thing to know- I have been asked by people from outside of the 5 towns if they are on a date with a 5 towns girl early on in the dating process are there any local restaurants in 5 towns that are empty so they can take her somewhere local, the answer is absolutely not, the way the 5 towns is set up is that if you go local chances are she will be seen, so take her to great neck or queens if you don’t want to drive so far.

Dairy:

Cork and Slice *Editors Pick*- Probably the most high end dairy place in 5 Towns, it’s very good though, and if you are going at a peak time make sure you have a reservation.

Central Perk- Classic 5 towns place, it has been around for a while, I think its very good, and you can sit outside in the back which would make for a good date, its more medium level expensive as far as price goes.

sunflower cafe- tables are spaced out pretty well which make it good for conversation, food is good, and at the medium level for pricing.

Coffee Bar- big restaurant, food pretty good, medium level expensive.

High end fleishigs-

Doma- Fanciest and most high end restaurant the 5 Towns has to offer, it’s really good but also very pricey, similar to city pricing, great lighting for a date and tables are very spaced.

Prime Bistro- steak house in Five Towns, less crowded then doma usually, pretty good food.

Anju- High end japanese style food, very good, nice place to sit.

Mid level-

Graze- Very good food, not pricey at all, during lunch hours its not waiter service, but a great option if you dont want to spend tons of money.

Hibana Hibachi- cute activity because they make the food in front of you, the issue is there will be people at your table so its not good for an early on date.

Sushi Tokyo- Nice quiet sushi spot, booths to sit at make for a decent not so expensive date.

Meat-

Colbeh- Persian kosher restaurant serving Middle Eastern dishes.

NOIR Long Island- Upscale kosher dining with a modern, lively atmosphere. (Very expensive)

The Cottage by Colbeh (Roslyn)- Cozy spot by Colbeh, offering Persian and Mediterranean cuisine.

Shiraz- Persian restaurant specializing in kebabs and traditional Middle Eastern dishes.

Paprika- Home-style kosher Moroccan and Mediterranean catering and prepared foods.
